Building Workflow Solutions with SharePoint and InfoPath

Course Focus and Objectives
This course provides the delegate with the knowledge required to build and deploy simple electronic forms workflow solutions using a combination of Microsoft’s Office SharePoint Server 2007 and Office InfoPath.

Delivery Approach
The course is run over a two day period with classes commencing at 09h00 and finishing at approximately 16h00. To maximize the value of time spent in the classroom, the course does not include hands-on laboratory exercises. The instructor performs comprehensive demonstrations in the classroom for which “step-by-step” documentation and supporting media are included in the course collateral.

Assumed Knowledge / Skills
In-depth software development skills are not a prerequisite, but we do assume that the delegate has at least rudimentary exposure to software development concepts. Although more experienced software developers could derive significant value from attending this course, we have assumed that the typical delegate would be a “Business Analyst” or “Office Developer” with elementary VB scripting (or similar) experience. For delegates who are not familiar with basic SharePoint Server functionality and usage, we recommend prior attendance of our “Defining and Managing SharePoint Sites and Content” course.

Attendance Fees
The course attendance fee (including training collateral, teas/coffees and a light luncheon) is  R2,470.00 excluding VAT. All fees must be paid in full prior to course attendance.
