This role is to join South Africas leading MS Gold Partner specifically to start and build a MOSS based competency within an established expert Collaborative environment.
Your role provides design; implementation and application integration services for new systems. Your primary focus will be on Knowledge Management systems that integrate into the production environment. Activities include working with business teams to identify content requirements for KM systems and integrating tools for navigation, search and capture of this information. Design elements include performance, functionality and reliability factors in a highly integrated and mobile environment.
Duties:
Analyse, document and propose application integration designs for implementations of new KM tools.
Work with various business units internally and externally to identify required knowledge content and access methods.
Implement integration using Web, mobile and client based technologies.
Perform required research and prototypes for new technology implementations.
Develop and execute end user training and support materials.
Provide some Project Management functions.
Attend technical conferences and seminars to keep abreast of new software integration and security developments.
You need:
Advanced knowledge of MS web based technologies including IIS, Sharepoint MOSS 2007 and Sharepoint Designer tools;
Advanced MS Sharepoint WSS/MOSS 2007 integration, management and troubleshooting skills;
some C#.NET; ASP.NET; MS SQL Server design and development skills;
Detailed MS Office application knowledge including config and integration.
